南房総国際交流協会は様々なイベントを通して、多文化理解と、相互理解を図ることを目標としています。
５月は館山国際交流協会と共催で「日系アメリカ人の歴史について」発表＆交流会イベントを行います。
サンフランシスコ日本町との繋がりが強く、第二次世界大戦の時に祖父母が強制収容所に入れらていたイナバ・グレッグさんを講師に呼んでいます。日系人の歴史や今の日系人社会について興味のある方、ちょっとした英会話の練習がしたい方、ぜひお越しください。
The Minamiboso International Exchange Association aims to promote multi-cultural and mutual understanding through various events.
In May, together with the Tateyama International Exchange Association, we will hold a presentation and exchange event “On Japanese-American History.”
We will have Mr. Graig Inaba, who has strong ties to San Francisco’s Japantown and whose grandparents were interned during WWII, come in as guest lecturer. Please stop by to hear and talk about Japanese-American history and the Japanese-American community now.

持ち物：ポットラック用一品（５～６人分）
Please bring a potluck item to share with 5~6 people
※飲み物類は協会が提供します。
The associations will provide drinks
スケジュール：
１３：３０ 開場 doors open
１４：００ イベント開始 event begins
発表、ディスカッション presentation and discussion
１５：１０ ポットラック、交流会 potluck and exchange
１６：００ イベント終了 event ends

なお、会場の都合により参加希望者が多い場合は人数制限を行う事があります。
