The numerous beaches in the Minamiboso area are opening soon, meaning you can enjoy the sea breeze along with the convenience of beach houses and safety of lifeguards. The annual Shirahama Ama Matsuri is also celebrating its 50th Anniversary, meaning this celebration of traditional ama free-dive fishing will be especially big. Various camping grounds near the ocean are also opening, making for a great weekend getaway.

南房総の海水浴場もいよいよ開設され、海の家の便利さや監視員がいる安全さの中で海を楽しむ事ができます。また、白浜海女まつりも５０回目という事で、海女漁のお祝いもいつもに増して盛大に行われます。海に近いキャンプ場も開設され、週末の避暑地として最適です。
